Kristi Lombardo is a photography student from Las Vegas, NV, who lives with her puppy Zippy Lennon.
Another image that the technical errors should bother me, but the imperfections seem to make me love it so much more. I’m learning that sometimes you have to embrace the imperfections to allow yourself to enjoy it as a whole.
This was taken on the day of the solar eclipse. I didn’t have the right equipment (2 uv filters & a polarizer filter) and I wasn’t in the greatest position (sitting on my driveway) but the images seem to have turned out all right. Maybe I’ll post some of them later.

Here is one of the solar eclipse pictures. I did a bunch of edits and decided that I like the super saturated one the best. I’ve been experimenting with nontraditional, or non-technical photography lately. I really wish that I had the proper equipment to shoot the sun. Maybe i’ll rent it next time.
Suburban Las Vegas…
I bet that the suburbs don’t come to mind when you think of Las Vegas.
When I look at this picture the song Suburban Hell by Automatic Loveletter comes to mind. The sky was simply too brilliant to ignore.
